Skydas Contribution – Entrance Doors for the YZY Kartos Project

For the YZY KARTOS project (3 Sudervės Rd.) developed by Omberg Group, the „Baltijos skydas“ team manufactured and installed interior entrance doors.

The chosen solution emphasizes naturalness and longevity—the door surfaces feature a more pronounced wood texture that adds character and coziness to the space. Warm tones create a more intimate, lived-in atmosphere in the stairwells, providing a pleasant contrast to the clean wall planes.

The doors are integrated into the overall architectural rhythm, maintaining clear proportions and consistent placement. Minimalist hardware and overhead door closers ensure a functional, uncluttered appearance.

This solution balances practicality, aesthetic warmth, and the durability required for daily use—qualities essential for a project designed for different generations living under one roof.
